Youth Spotlight

Billy Jackson

December 2006 - This month our Youth Spotlight shines on Billy Jackson. Billy is in his second year with Youth Crime Watch at Marshall Middle School in Florida and serves as President of the organization.

Billy is a model watch member, never missing a day on watch in any weather. He is always at his post and never hesitates to do the right thing, reporting misbehavior by fellow students and keeping an eye on the safety of the student body. In addition, Billy is a bright student, and quick to identify new strategies for his watch. His personal commitment motivates other students to do their best as well. His good school academic and behavior records combined with his personal charisma have made him a natural leader for his school's crime watch.

It is kids like Billy who will continue to inspire their peers to make a positive difference in their communities. We hope to hear more of him in the years to come.

Thank you, Billy! Keep up the good work!
