Y.E.S. Forum

YOU can help run the forum. Apply to be a Youth Conference Ambassador. Youth ages 14 to 22 are eligible.

Plan to attend the Youth Exploring Solutions (Y.E.S.) Forum at the conference. Youth ages 12-22 will have the opportunity to participate in discussions about the problems we face in our homes, schools, and communities. The Y.E.S. Forum is planned for and by youth.

Youth Conference Ambassadors will facilitate discussions, encouraging participants to think critically, to share experiences, and to voice their opinions. The forum will empower youth by giving them the strategies, information, skills, program models, materials, connections, and resources needed to formulate solutions to the problems of crime, violence, and drugs in their communities.

The Y.E.S. Forum offers participants an entire day filled with small group roundtable discussions, which will discuss current key issues affecting our communities.

The day is filled with opportunities for networking and brainstorming, free from pressure and adults. On the last day of the conference, participants will share their recommendations with all attendees, policymakers, and community leaders. The Youth Exploring Solutions Forum is an opportunity of a lifetime that should not be missed by youth who want to take a stand against crime in their communities.
