You came from 33 U.S. states and several international locations to share inspiration, valuable skills, prevention knowledge, and resources in the fight against crime, violence, and drugs. You drew strength from conference speakers Paul Rusesabagina (whose incredible story inspired the film Hotel Rwanda) and Marshawn Evans (a conference alumna and role model for people across the U.S. since her appearance on TV's The Apprentice).

Challenging and motivating youth to make their communities and schools safer places is one of the most effective strategies to reduce delinquency and youth victimization. YCWA's National Youth Crime Prevention Conference is a vehicle that recognizes the valuable contributions youth can make to the crime prevention effort.
